Experior Corporation today announced the release of SurgeOn, its new software designed specifically for the ambulatory surgery center (ASC) market.Following their acquisition of Camberley Systems, Inc. in 2002, Experior Corporation undertook a complete re-design of Camberley’s surgery center products. “There is no question that the surgery center market is a thriving opportunity, but the industry’s legacy systems were out of step with recent changes,” says J. Richard Presser, president of Experior Corporation. “We combined our 20 plus years’ experience in surgical centers with a remarkable team of designers and surgery center staff, to develop SurgeOn into a truly outstanding product.” SurgeOn is the newest software to be released to the ASC industry in several years.
SurgeOn’s intuitive Windows application enables users to automate their entire surgery center processes. Capturing critical information at the point of service, from the front desk to the operating room, ensures efficient billing practices, insurance claims filing, scheduling, case costing, and materials management.
“We’ve given surgery centers a great degree of flexibility and integration capabilities with the SurgeOn software, regardless of the size of the center,” says Presser. Centers can choose to only schedule and bill for cases, or use added system features to fully automate all the surgical center processes.
SurgeOn is HIPAA compliant and utilizes HL-7 standards, enabling it to easily interface with other third party software. The SurgeOn software is modular and provides scheduling, registration, inventory, preference cards, case costing, clinical data tracking, billing, collections, full reporting capabilities, and more.
